Privacy Notice

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your display name, email address, and any referral code used during registration. Your password is protected using one-way hashing and is not stored as readable text.

When you use watchPaid, we may also record account status, sign-in and security events, campaign viewing starts and completions, payment references, amounts and statuses, and basic technical information such as IP address, browser information, and request timestamps. If you request a mobile-money withdrawal, we collect the destination network, account-holder name, and mobile-money number needed to review and process that request.

2. How we use information

• Provide and secure member access.
• Show curated campaigns and record viewing activity without creating wallet credit.
• Record campaign activity and maintain service reliability.
• Open member-specific Kora API checkouts for deposits, activate paid plans from verified wallet balance, reconcile payment status, and maintain the wallet ledger.
• Reserve wallet value for withdrawal requests, let authorized administrators approve or reject them, and use the submitted destination to arrange an approved manual payout.
• Prevent misuse, investigate security events, and meet applicable obligations.
• Understand and improve the watchPaid member experience.

3. Cookies and sessions

watchPaid uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is necessary for account access and is not used for cross-site advertising.

4. YouTube content

Campaign videos are provided through YouTube. Loading or playing a video may send technical information to YouTube under Google’s privacy practices. watchPaid uses privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds where supported.

5. When information may be shared

We may share information with service providers that help host, secure, and operate the platform, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security expectations. Transaction details needed to initialize and verify a payment are sent to Kora through its API. Members enter payment credentials in Kora’s secure checkout under Kora’s privacy practices, and watchPaid does not receive or store full card credentials entered there. watchPaid does store the mobile-money destination that you submit for a withdrawal and may provide it to an authorized payout operator or provider solely to process an approved request. We may also disclose information when required by law or when needed to protect users, watchPaid, or others. watchPaid does not sell member personal information.

6. Retention and security

We keep personal information, financial approval records, and withdrawal destinations for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. Access to withdrawal destinations is restricted to authorized administrators. We use administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You may sign out at any time. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of account information, contact the watchPaid team through its official support channel. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

8. Children

watchPaid is not directed to children under 18, and member access should not be requested by anyone under 18.

9. Updates

We may update this notice as the service changes. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
